The Grandview Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway is another eastward facing pullout that is best avoided in the morning unless you are out to see the sun rise. There is an expansive vista with nothing blocking the view, but it’s not that interesting since it is of tree-covered mountains. In the fall a stop at the Grandview Overlook would be worthwhile, but otherwise I suggest to keep on driving.
