The Cranberry Ridge View stop on the Blue Ridge Parkway is just around the corner from the Woolyback Overlook to the south, so the view is of the same mountains from a slightly different angle. However, the view is not nearly as good. It’s a much narrower vista to begin with, and there are a number of tall trees in the way. All that is left to see are some very plain and uninteresting mountains, so you’re better off skipping this overlook altogether.
