A huge pine tree right in the center of the Air Bellows Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway keeps it from being a 5-star overlook. Instead of having a 180° panoramic view, you must walk to the left or right of the tree to see anything. However, what you do see is fantastic: fields, farms, houses, and mountains in the distance. A valley filled with various terrains is always a more interesting view than one of green mountains.
