Kayaking the Davis Bayou Blueway at Gulf Islands National Seashore

While most of the Mississippi unit of the Gulf Islands National Seashore is comprised of islands eight to twelve miles off shore, there are a number of mainland waterways known as the Davis Bayou Blueway that are suitable for canoes, kayaks, and other hand-paddled watercraft. You can access the Blueway from the park’s boat ramp at the end of Boat Launch Road. See the Boat Ramp web page for more information.
