See the Picnic Areas web page for an interactive location map.
Seagrape Drive is located next to the Nathaniel P. Reed Visitor Center. It leads to the Seagrape Drive Boat Launch, the access point to Halfway Creek. While there is no actual picnic “area,” there are five tables scattered along the roadside. One is off by itself in the open, two are grouped together (one of which has a cover), and there are two tables located close to the boat ramp, both of which are covered (though one table was missing during my visit). There are no grills. Because there are only a few tables and they are scattered about, this is a place to grab a quick bite to eat, not a place to host an all-day family outing.
