Gator Hook Trail picnic tables at Big Cypress National Preserve

Two covered picnic tables (no grills) are located on Loop Road at the trailhead for the Gator Hook Trail at Big Cypress National Preserve. Loop Road is a dusty, dirt road, and I certainly would not recommend driving on it just to get to these picnic tables. If picnicking is your goal, stick with the picnic areas located on the paved Tamiami Trail. The Gator Hook tables mainly serve hikers and travelers who are driving Loop Road for other reasons.
